One morning, Mole abandons his spring cleaning and surfaces into the sunlight. Rambling along the hedgerows, he comes to the edge of a riverbank, where he meets the Water Rat.
When Rat invites Mole to spend his first-ever day in a boat on the river, so begins a marvellous season of adventure for the new friends. The wise Badger and the lovable liability, Mr Toad (he of Toad Hall), complete the happy foursome.
Follow along as the friends adventure through waterside Britain. From riverside picnics to snowy nights in the Wild Wood, and the toot-tooting of Toad’s shiny new motor car, there is never a dull moment. But Toad’s high jinks have the tendency to get him into trouble. Can the friends work together to defeat the ranks of the Stoats and Weasels in a battle for Toad Hall?
A cheerful tale of camaraderie, mischief, and heart.
