After being sold to a shopkeeper for daring to ask for “more” gruel, Oliver decides to escape in search of a better life. Alone and afraid, he sets off for the streets of London.
Upon arrival, Oliver meets Fagin and the Artful Dodger, and things begin looking up. But he quickly learns there is more than meets the eye to his new companions and is thrust into a world of crime.
Follow Oliver through a year of twists and turns as he encounters cunning thieves, loyal friends, and a hidden past that holds the key to his future. Can the kindness of strangers help him find his way? A story of innocence, resilience, and staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times.
