Meet the creator.
Poppy the Pea’s charming and critically acclaimed debut adventure is told in lively rhyming verse with catchy refrains that encourage conversations around themes of courage, self-belief, resilience, friendship and hope. The beloved book is now brought beautifully to life through the warm, motherly voice of actress Julia Savill, along with uplifting music and fun sound effects to delight listeners young and old.
Perfect for ages 5+, the audiobook is divided into five very short chapters, making it ideal for one sitting or repeat plays to relive the fun and keep discussions alive. It is also a perfect accompaniment to the hardback edition of the story.
Poppy the Pea has been widely praised as a comforting and empowering story, especially for children navigating fears and the audiobook plays an integral role in popular school workshops (in the UK and beyond) led by the author – making it an emerging favourite among children, parents, and educators alike.
