On Prince Edward Island, aging siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert decide to adopt a boy to help with chores around their farm. But when Matthew arrives at the train station, he finds no one but a talkative, red-headed eleven-year-old girl waiting for him.
Matthew quickly senses that life at Green Gables is going to be very different. But neither he nor Marilla could predict just how much the independent and fiery Anne (with an E!) would change their lives immeasurably.
Follow along on Anne’s adventures as her uncompromising spirit and wild imagination make her a striking presence in her new community. From friendships and first picnics to mishaps and misunderstandings, there’s never a dull moment with Anne around. Can a little girl with a heart of gold open the Cuthberts up to a love unimaginable before her arrival?
A heartwarming story of friendship, belonging, and learning to be yourself.
